I am a self taught woodturner. By that I only mean that I don't have an art education or even formal training in the techniques of woodturning. But even the self taught need inspiration. I have seen many demonstrations by members of the Bayou Woodturners. I have read everything I can get my hands on about modern woodturning. In the end each piece I turn is a combination of all my experiences to that point. The excitement of continuously learning is no two pieces are ever the same.
